The Northwest Passage: A Glimpse into Salta’s Villages & Landscapes

Trek Argentina's high altitude

Here's your chance to see Argentina´s legendary Northwest Passage - soaring canyons, remote villages, stunning landscapes. In Buenos Aires, you'll get to know this vibrant city inside out.

Fly north to Salta, known for its colonial architecture, cobble-stoned streets, and soaring mountains. Stop at a local market to pick up ingredients for your very own cooking class.

Head to the Iruya countryside to wander pre-historic caves, lagoons and canyons. We've included two nights in a small mountain refugio (accessible only by a full day hike) where most likely you´ll only run into friendly villagers who thrive in high altitude living and artisans who create intricate earn a living creating beautiful ponchos.
