After arriving in Bangkok you fly to Chiang Rai, then travel by boat to the World Heritage City of Luang Prabang, up to Vientiane, and then on to the very tip of the country.

Along the way, you’ll get to know the people, visit Laotian remnants of the Angkor dynasty, enjoy a variety of boat rides along the Mekong, see spectacular waterfalls, and stay at wonderful small palaces and inns.

Explore villages for wonderful silk weavings, shop for carvings, silver and precious stones, even have some Laotian shirts or skirts made.
